Hogan Personality Inventory (The 'Bright Side')
If I asked you about your professional reputation as a leader, what would you say? We may know how we behave, but be less clear on how that behaviour impacts our reputation at work - how others find us; our strengths and weaknesses and our unique interpersonal and leadership styles.
The Hogan Personality Inventory ('HPI' or 'Bright Side') was designed to measure the reputation of managers and senior leaders. The assessment can be used to determine fitness for the challenges of a particular role when when recruiting or to raise awareness for professional development and create a targeted coaching programme to enhance leader performance.

What does it measure?
The Bright Side measures a leader's reputation on 7 different scales. No score on a scale is inherently good or bad, but may be more or less fitting for the demands of a particular role.
The Bright Side can also measure leadership competencies, such as Managing Innovation, Building Relationships, Handling Ambiguity and Team Orientation. There are 5 competencies measured for each of the 7 personality scales. |
How do I take the 'Bright Side' assessment?
As for all the Hogan assessments, this can be completed online from any web-connected device. The results are sent automatically to the commissioning Consultant/Coach on submission of the completed questionnaire in the online system.

What's the cost?
Taking the 'Bright Side' Assessment varies according to the kind of report requested and the length of feedback session required. Report prices vary from a basic feedback report at around £30, to an in-depth report including leadership competencies at around £130. A feedback session is always provided, either face-to-face, by phone or by Skype. The cost of this varies depending on the needs of the individual and would usually start at £400 for an hour's session, including interpretation preparation and follow-up by the Coach. Special rates on fees are available for some SMEs, for Individuals and for Members of the Employee Ownership Association. All prices quoted are subject to VAT and are correct as at 1st November 2015. |
