Hussein Dickie
Specialist - 3D Leader and Organisational Mapping
Hussein Dickie is a business consultant, a systemic coach, and a musician. These three strands have evolved over his lifetime, starting with music, followed by co-building and managing a mid-sized business, to a systemic coach and facilitator trained in systemic constellations for organisations. At Pivotal Moment we call this 3D Mapping, as it describes more clearly the process that occurs in constellations.
Hussein became a business consultant following the experience he gained co-building a business from start-up to mid-sized organisation with over 100 employees and a turnover of £100 million. The business was sold to a large Fortune 500 corporation where Hussein took on the role of Managing Director responsible for several European countries. He and two partners then left the corporation by taking over one of its divisions and all of its employees. He stayed on as a board member and left the day-to-day business to his partners. After some years he became more interested in helping start-ups and consulting to other organisations. While gaining experience in building and managing businesses, Hussein often applied his wide knowledge of corporate finance and economics. Consulting jobs frequently required this in relation to feasibility assessments of particular ventures; raising funds for expansion; downsizing and growing; business planning; restructuring; valuations; cost optimising; employee remuneration models etc. While all those are necessary in every business, he began to understand that a business is a system and its health must be assessed systemically. He then began to explore ‘Systemic Constellations’. This technique is an intuitive process that reveals an ‘inner map’ of how the organisation works. Its origins lie in the work of Bert Hellinger who developed it to reveal and resolve family dynamics. It has since been successfully used in organisations to rapidly resolve seemingly intractable problems in the organisational system. Every organisation has processes to support the efficiency of the business. But top performance relies on the employees’ relationships and interpersonal dynamics; the unwritten, subconscious rules that govern the organisation. You can have the best processes in place, but if what happens within the individual and between people is not aligned with the purpose of the business, it will not perform at its best. 3D Leadership and Organisational Mapping reveals those dynamics and relationships in an inoffensive intuitive process that everyone can work with. Hussein is also a musician. He holds a degree in music from the Vienna University of Music and continued with postgraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He performs at events and composes his own music. He also holds an MBA, an MA in Banking and Finance and an MSc in financial economics from the University of British Columbia. He is a member of the European Management Centre. Hussein has spent a large part of his professional life in German speaking countries. He is fluent in English and German. |
